J4 Water Works is a family-owned company out of El Campo, part of the J4 family of companies that has been working Gulf Coast Texas land for a generation.
The J4 story starts with fence. Cuatro Strack built fence across the country before bringing the trade home to Texas, and J4 Fencing grew into one of the busiest fence outfits on the Gulf Coast. Years of fence work on ranches across Wharton and the surrounding counties taught us something: the same landowners who needed fence needed water. Wells, pumps, septic, treatment. So in 2021 we built the company to do it right.
J4 Water Works exists because rural land doesn't work without water, and water systems don't work when four different contractors each own a piece and nobody owns the whole. We drill the well, set the pump, install the septic, and treat the water. One crew, one standard, one phone number that gets answered.
We're headquartered on State Highway 71 South in El Campo, in the middle of the 8 counties we serve, not on the edge of them. Our COO Bobby Bram runs day-to-day operations, and the family is in the work every day.
We find out what's actually wrong, or what your water actually contains, before we quote anything. Lab tests before treatment systems. Diagnosis before pump replacement. The answer comes before the invoice.
Written quotes, travel included, before a truck rolls or a part gets ordered. No "starting from" ranges that double by the final bill. Whatever the hour, you know the number first.
We live here. Our name is on the truck and our kids are in these schools. Faith and family drive this company, and that shows up in how we treat the people we work for.
J4 Water Works works alongside J4 Fencing (high-security and ranch fencing), J4 Legacy Properties (Texas land and ranch real estate), and J4 Prefabricated Homes (manufactured home sales). For a landowner, that means the people who drill your well can also connect you with the people who fence your pasture or help you buy the next tract. One family, one standard, across the whole property.
Tell us what's going on and where the property sits. Straight answer, written quote.
